PGFIRST STUDENT MINISTRY

The purpose of the PGFirst Student Ministry is for 6th - 12th grade students to know the Lord’s glorious deeds, set their hope in Christ, and live as faithful disciples for the glory of God.


Through weekly discipleship, fun events, service opportunities, mission trips, and summer camp our committed adult volunteers will teach students the Lord’s glorious deeds, to set their hope in Christ, and live as faithful disciples.


Our prayer is that the Lord would transform our students' hearts and use them for His glory.

CHI ALPHA

Wednesdays @ 6pm, beginning 1/7


The first letter of "Christ" in Greek is the letter "Chi" (X), while the the first letter in the Greek alphabet is "Alpha" (A). With the idea of putting "Christ first" our 6th-12th grade students gather each Wednesday night for dinner, worship, and the study of Scripture. We begin hanging out and playing games at 6pm. Worship service starts at 6:20pm and we are finished around 7:15pm and students are encouraged to stay and hangout, playing games until 8pm. This is a time for students to live out a Christ-centered community and to learn the tools necessary to become disciple-makers who know and treasure Christ. Email the Student Pastor, Matt Shively, for more details. 


SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sundays @ 9am


Our students are invited to join the adults in Sunday School and learn alongside them! This integrates the generations and fosters a culture where friendships and discipleship between adults and students are normal. It also allows the students to learn with their parents and encourages discipleship to take naturally take place within the family.

DNOW 2026

February 6th-8th


PGFirst students in grades 6-12 will join the students of University Baptist Church and Ozark Baptist Church for a DNOW weekend! Student will stay in host homes of PGFirst Members and gather with the other students at UBC for worship, teaching, and small group times. Parents will drop students off at their host homes on Friday evening and pick them up after our worship service at PGFirst, which starts at 10:30am! Cost: $45. Register HERE!
