serve

At the heart of our philosophy of ministry is the conviction that God has called every believer into ministry. Therefore, we desire each person in our church family to mature in their relationship with Christ, be trained for ministry, and then be released into a ministry that fits their God given gifts and passions.  Below, you'll learn about some areas where you can serve the body of FBC Prairie Grove.  If there are additional ways you are interested in serving that aren't on this list, contact us and we will help you find your place!

  • HOSPITALITY

Perhaps you are gifted at things like cooking and organizing meals, decorating, or creating a welcoming space.  If so, we'd love to see you put your gift to use by helping with special events held at the church.  You can also assist in providing meals for people in need.  Contact us for more information.

  • GREETING & CONNECTIONS

If you're all about welcoming people to our fellowship, this is a great area for you to serve.  On Sunday mornings, you can help greet people, help newcomers find their way around, serve coffee, and give gifts to first-time visitors.  Contact us to learn more.

  • CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

The cleaning and maintenance crew helps keep our buildings clean on a weekly basis.  If you like working behind the scenes and aren't afraid of hard work, this might be a great place for you to serve (and you will be GREATLY appreciated!)  Contact us to learn more.

  • SECURITY

The security team works to ensure the safety of everyone on our church campus on Sunday mornings and during church events.  Each member of the team receives training in security detail.  If you're interested, please contact us.

  • WORSHIP

Do you have a desire to help others engage in heartfelt worship?  Do you have a musical gift?  Can you sing?  Play an instrument?   Or maybe you have an interest in sound, lighting, and video.  Perhaps you should serve on the worship team.  Contact us if you are interested.

  • MISSIONS

As we seek to engage lost people with the gospel, we need strategic thinkers who look for open doors, develop partnerships, and help create opportunities for our church to reach out with the gospel in meaningful ways.  If that's something you're interested in helping with, please contact us.

  • CARE

Care ministry is designed to encourage, love, and support people in their time of need.  It may include visiting people at home or in the hospital, delivering meals, and more.  Contact us for more information.

  • CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

There are many ways to serve with our children, whether it be helping with Kids Connect on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings, volunteering teach, or serving in the nursery.  If you're interested, please contact us.

  • STUDENT MINISTRY

f you have a heart for making disciples of the next generation, volunteering with our student ministry might be a good fit for you.  There are many ways to serve, using a variety of different gifts.  Please contact us for more information.

  • DISASTER RELIEF

When people are victims of a natural disaster or some other catastrophe, we want to be there to help.  Training is offered on an annual basis, and although handyman skills are helpful, they are not required.  Contact us for more info.
